The Daily Routine

Although the routines of each room and age group will vary, the same aspects are contained in each. We endeavor to provide a home and family environment at the centre where the children feel comfortable and secure at all times and our daily routines reflect this.

Throughout the day the children will experience a number of different activities which are part of the educational and developmental programs operated by all of our staff.

Each room displays the routine for that room and is available for parents to read and questions regarding this can be answered by the appropriate staff members. In place are both summer and winter routines, which adapt to weather conditions.

The Program

All of the staff at our centre will have had training and experience in areas of long day care and early childhood education. Because of the high standard of our staff, we are able to provide developmental and educational programs for each group of children.

The staff develop a daily program, observe the children in their care and plan their programs around the needs and interests of the children in child free time.

Other services:

• Emergent Curriculum program - Emergent curriculum is based on learning and teaching educational strategies within the interest of the individual child to stimulate and foster a love of learning within the classroom environment. This will expose the children to a warm and safe environment thus creating a learning atmosphere that they will thrive to the fullest potential.
• Preschool program based on the NSW Education Curriculum Framework - We pride ourselves on the highest quality programming to prepare the children and families for there next adventure of primary school, this includes number recognition, letter recognition, pre writing skills, rote counting, object counting and following directions. Social and emotional we feel is a valuable life skill in the preparation for school, family and the community as a whole.
• State of the Art Building and Premises; Guaranteed to excite! - A beautiful and sophisticated architectural designed building, with abundance of new resources, spacious rooms and floating tiled floors. Be impressed with the attention to detail emphasised throughout the centre.
• Local staff from your community. - Staff hold pride in living, working and playing on the northern beaches and are looking forward to watching your children grow and getting to know you and your family and helping meet their individual needs.
• Early Childhood trained staff with extensive experience and skills - Between the current staff a Bachelor of Early Education, 3 x Diploma of Community Services and Certificate three in Community Services as well as all staff holding First Aid Certificate and over 60 years experience within the Early Childhood Industry. They display passion and a drive to educate our future generation, understand the need for compassion and possess an understanding of the importance of nurturing and education.
• Specialised Nursery Staff - Cuddles and Comfort is needed for babies and a strong understanding of their individual needs while creating a strong relationship with the parents and families.
• Non Contact Centre Director - This is a valuable assess to have at a centre with the Director being able to give you the time that is needed to assure you of the quality of care, answer your concern and feel that we have time to listen to you and your family. The high quality of care is the most important aspect of our centre and is being applied from Management levels continuing training, educating staff and giving support where it is needed. This again is a valuable person to have off the floor and helping with accounts, phone calls and administration.
• The latest educational equipment especially designed to stimulate and educate - There is a large variety of educational and fun toys. No monies have been spared to create a wonderful environment for your child to have fun and learn social skills in a classroom situation.
• Freshly prepared nutritional balanced meals that meet 50% of your child's "recommended daily intake". - This is home cooking style food prepared and cooked by our qualified chef each day. Come and smell the wonderful aromas throughout the centre.
